Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) contracted me to work with their Marketing team to migrate content from their legacy content management system (CMS) to a modern CMS.
This role included responding to support tickets from staff members, onboarding new users, delivering training webinars via MS Teams, building new landing pages from design specifications, and maintaining the quality of content on sait.ca. Quality assurance included monitoring for broken links, SSL errors and important changes in Google Analytics or Google Search Console.
In 2023, SAIT won several awards for their website re-design, which included several advanced features for dynamic content types like contact directories and mission-critical funnels for prospective students. Artificial Intelligence models are now used to improve website way-finding in search results containing misspellings and interchangeable terms.
While working with SAIT, I proudly served as a Staff Advisor and Event Coordinator for the Pride+ Club, and provided photography at several events.
